PLANNING BOARD

Regular meetings of the Planning Board are held on the fourth Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m. Meetings take place downstairs at the Rockport Opera House located at 6 Central Street, unless otherwise stated on the posted agenda.
- Applications for Site Plan review are due two weeks before the scheduled meeting.
- Applications for Subdivision review are due three weeks before the scheduled meeting.
- Written public comments to the Planning Board should be sent via email to othomas@rockportmaine.gov, attention Planning Board Members, or
via USPS to 101 Main St. Rockport, ME 04856, ATT Planning Board.
- Public Comment is taken during all public meetings at the beginning of each agenda item.
The Bylaws, found at the link below, are established by the Rockport Planning Board to aid in the fulfillment of its responsibility under the Maine Constitution, the Statutes of Maine and the Municipal Ordinances, all of which have precedence. These Bylaws are intended to ensure fair and equitable treatment in all proceedings of the Rockport Planning Board.
