Antonio Del Vecchio, Patrol Officer

Officer Antonio (aka Tony) Del Vecchio graduated from Pomperaug High School (Southbury CT).  During his high school career he was a Police Explorer with the Naugatuck Police Explorer Post 882.  This consisted of introduction to law enforcement, training/scenarios, and community service.  He eventually achieved the rank of Sergeant during his time with the post.  He went on to graduate from Southern Maine Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice.  During his college career, he was a Reserve Police Officer with the Town of Scarborough and later attained full time status.  He graduated from the 30th Basic Law Enforcement Training Program.  He and his family then began the move to mid-coast where he submitted his employment application and was accepted for a patrolman position with the Town of Rockport. His pastimes include tending his farm, ATV riding and firearms/training.
